Thursday 1 May 2025--I could be where I'm going in about three hours, if I took the QEW and the 401 west. Instead, I drive the entire length of the Niagara River Parkway, from Niagara-on-the-Lake past Niagara Falls to Fort Erie, and then a variety of local roads along the Lake Erie shoreline. It means all day in the car, which is something I usually try to avoid, but I try to avoid highways more. I get to see a bit of scenery (although the landscape is generally really flat), and also a few towns along the way. Here is the light in Port Dover.
