Tuesday 20 May 2025--I take the cruise to Flowerpot Island today, part of the Fathom Five National Marine Park, which was established to preserve freshwater ecosystems and the numerous shipwrecks in the vicinity of Tobermory. From the dock on the island, a trail leads about a mile to the two flowerpots--a third collapsed in 1903--and on to the lightstation on the north side of the island. A splendid excursion.
