Wednesday 14 May 2025--My plan for today was to go to Munising and take a cruise along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, but I have a tire issue, and spend a good part of the day dealing with it. I have time late in the day to take a short drive west along the lakeshore. At a scenic overlook, I can see down to the Au Sable Light Station. It's a very small taste of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The first drafts of my itinerary included a lot more of it, cut for considerations of time and expense. Hopefully I'll have a chance to come back.
